Meet at 8.10am today, and I was running and eventually I did reach there by 8.10am.
Not a minute late at all ~
After getting our helmets, I walk to the bus while eating a piece of cake.
After the steel factory, we went back to ‘duoluojie’ to get food, herbal tea and sore throat pills and went back to hostel.
After eating and tidying up ourselves, we went to our IS classes.
It teach us about the history of china.
What I learn:
In steel factory, I learnt the process of how wires and steels are made.
Firstly, knowing the history of the steel factory.
1974, the steel factory held their open ceremony.
Japan thought china's steel factory couldn't survive long, however,
they survive till today which is 30 years plus and continue counting.
Japan were very impressive with china people as they can manage the steel factory very well.
Inside the steel factory, the raw materials will be put into a hot automated machines, and then a steel will be move out from the machines. When the steel came out, we can feel the heat even though we were like 80metres away from the bright orange hot steel. Then, the steel will move by a automated roller and being flattened maximum 7 times. However, the steel factory normally flattened 3-5 times only. Following on, the steel will be furthered flattened into thin long steel with water. In the end, it will be rolled up like a big toilet roll and move to the inspecting session.
In the IS module, I Learnt the provinces and history of china.
I didn’t know that Taiwan was part of china, but after the IS lesson, i learnt more about china.
China Economy from 2000 till present, the GDP is increasing.
Economic development has generally been more rapid in coastal provinces than in the interior.
and there are large disparities in per capital income between regions.
China western development is designed to increase economic situation of western provinces through parital investment and development of natural resources.
Revitalize northeast china is to rejuvenate the industrial bases in the north eastern china. It covers 3 provinces.
To continue, china largest trading partner in 2008 is united state.
The normal trading partners are sudan, australia and many more.
In recent years, China has strengthened its environmental legislation.
China is an active participant in climate change talks and other multilateral environment negotiations in organisation.
This is are the items i have learnt and covered today.
Today, i learnt a lot of things, and i hope that there will be more excursions and IS modules to increase my knowledge and broaden my mind.
