Today woke up at 8.30am and saw Miss Neo missed call.
I wonder what will it be so important for her to call me at 7 plus.
thus , I message her.
hoping that she will reply that the excursion was cancel.
however, it wasn’t about that.
it was about the interaction activity.
After that, I quickly prepare myself and head to classroom block to assemble.
I thought my bunk will be late.
we rush quickly to classroom, and while we walk passed the basketball court, I look at my watch, it’s only 8.45am.
then we slow down our footstep.
and we are the first group to reach.
We waited for quite long as they need to persuade the ECE teacher to join the trip.
thus, it took quite some time before we leave our school.
we take about 1 hour plus journey to reach the new school.
when we reached there, they welcome us warmly and each person have a student to accompany with.
We were all so shocked when we reached the school.
it’s a big crowd of students waiting for us.
after that, they bring us to the hall.
they welcome us and prepare some performance.
after performance, we went to visit their library.
the library have 7 level and it’s very big.
after that, they also introduce their history of WUST.
from separate schools, and eventually, this school was built up at 2008.
Then, after library, we went to their canteen to eat.
the food was delicious and tasty.
then, we walk around the school.
the school environment looks better than the school I am studying now.
it’s like double size of my current school.
There’s a man-made of river inside the school.
and beside the school, is ‘huang jiang’.
it’s quite a famous lake which I have heard before.
I think it’s a pretty good environment to study here.
and I also chatted with the china student.
currently, my partner, she only learnt English module in university.
that’s a different between Singapore and china.
Singapore we learn English since young, but in china, they only learn English when they are in college or university.
but I think their primary and secondary are also teaching English subject already.
To continue, I realized that 1 thing china people are different from us is that they are very particular with giving a warm welcome to the guest.
for example, if we go to their school, they will give us their best shot.
and in hostel, they will treat us and want us to feel that we are in our own home.
and they also expect us to treat them the same way.
Like when they come over to my hostel, we are also supposed to bring them chairs and serve them drink.
let them feel that they are at home, and chat with them.
it’s a important gesture in china.
Coming to wuhan, I learnt a lot of things.
I also blend into their culture.
I hope this will help me for my future.
After the touring around in school, we went to play interacting games.
it’s pretty fun.
Then, we went to biology lab, 医学院.
we went to see the death body of real people, baby, insect.
we also see the internal part, vein, skull and etc.
it’s a bit disgusting after seeing those things.
but I am happy that at least in my life I have seen it. =)
it’s a great opportunity and I didn’t regret coming over to new WUST school.
You might be wondering, aren’t I studying in WUST already.
let me explain more about it.
the one that I am studying in WUST is consider an older version one.
the one that I went today is a new version of WUST.
Alright, after the lab, we went back to our school.
we went to bunk to prepare and head to bank.
but the bunk didn’t open, so we went to ‘jiang han lu bu xing jie’.
we are counting that actually we don’t really have much time to shop already.
and we are quite busy even we don’t have lesson.
which means we need to have dinner with the china student, to bid farewell.
we also need to spend time to pack our luggages.
Then, after shopping, we head back to bunk, blog and sleep.
