Yesterday night didn’t sleep well as I can feel the engine of the cruise, or rather, the movement of the cruise. If I am not wrong, this is my first time sleeping inside a cruise. I mean when I am young, I did sit inside cruise, but after I am sensible, as in after I grow up, I never went to cruise to stay overnight.
For me, I feel that the engine was just under my bed and I just can’t go deep into my sleep. Hahas~
Nonetheless, I still need to wake up at 6am as breakfast will be served at 6.30am.
And the WeiQin set alarm clock at 5.40am, and didn’t wake up on time!!! ROAR~
make us rush like hell.
Luckily we manage to make it on time. We reach the dining area at 6.30am, went to eat with hazel group. They didn’t really eat a lot, and they are so quiet. Only me and WeiQin is the noisy one.
I ate a bowl of porridge and bun. After that, I went to my room to pack something and wait for the PA system to announce that we have arrived the tourist attraction and it’s time to depart from cruise.
After departing from cruise, we went to ‘guan yin ge’. We went to pray and start to walk a long distance to ‘bai di chen’. After ‘bai di chen’ we walked all the walk back to cruise. The cruise leave at 9am, and then it will pass by the three gorges. That’s the place where everybody is waiting for.
If you want to see three gorges, take out china 10 dollar notes, and flipped to the back. That’s the beautiful gorges that we came so far to see. Everybody were taking photos, finding perfect shots and chatting away. The scenery was beautiful.
After viewing, we went down to eat lunch. Practically, we did nothing much after lunch. Because we need to take 4 hours before reaching Shennong xi stream by the ChangJiang River. Hence, we slack inside the room, waiting for announcement. We waited for too long, don’t know what time they want us to depart, so we head to sleep. We were so lost as we don’t know what time to gather. The tour guide didn’t do her job well. She didn’t provide precise information for us.
While sleeping, the cruise suddenly honks, so we jump up from the bed and rush down to lobby to gather. We cross over to another boat and head off. The boat brings us to sit the sampan. Along the way, there are a lot of mountains which has different meaning and significance. There are people staying inside. I remembered there was one mountain, which has a hanging coffin on the mountain. All this mountains are very interesting and unique; it’s very meaningful too.
After viewing the mountain, we went to sit the sampan. The sampan was great, and the guys rolling were so tough. Thus, I donated RMB10 to the worker in exchange for 1 stone. Actually is not a donation, he sold us the stone 1 for RMB 10. But I did it on charity purpose. Because I see the uncle, so old already, still need to work, rolling the boat, it’s a tough job and he rely this to survive. We decided to donate, to let him earn more. To us, RMB 10 is easy, but to them, RMB 10 is a lot.
Next, we went back to the boat and back to the cruise. Upon reaching cruise, we went to eat dinner and then we head to friends room to slack and watch movie. The ambiance was really good. Hahas~

Actually we can sleep after our dinner, but we didn’t, as everybody is waiting to see the dam. The cruise will reach the dam about 11pm, thus, everybody stay up late just to see the dam.
And after 10 plus, we pause our movie and went up to view the dam. When we went up, we were quite far from the dam. We also notice that the right side of the cruise railing has broken. After staying awhile at the cruise outdoor, we went back to watch movie again. But after starting the movie for 5 minutes, we heard the engine is off, and the dam is so close to us already. Hence, we pause the movie once again, and rush up to see the dam.
Our boat is aligning to the right side of the dam, and there are 2 other boat combining to our cruise. Total of 3 boats together waiting for the entrance of the dam to open.
And yea!!! It open at about 12 plus. All the 2 boats are released from each other, and move into the dam. How should I describe dam for you to understanding?
Ok. Because our boat need to change from one sea level, to the other level, as in the height of the water will change. So, they can’t just move from 1 height to the other height so easily right. They can’t possibly let us drop from one height to the other height right? Or else the cruise will swing like hell. Hahas! So they must go into the dam, close the entrance gate, change the water level, and open the exit gate. Then, close the exit gate again.
Okay. I have seen our cruise inside the dam already. And it’s time for me to head to bed now. NightS!

next we go to the changjiang river.
they use sampan to bring us view the scenery.

the story goes like this.
initially, they were naked, using the rope to pull the sampan.
now is different already.
to continue, it is 60 km long in total, joining the changjiang river at the entrance of the well known wuxia gorge.
drifting along the stream, we can experience the wonderful feelings such as watching the rare birds and some other animals and supping the tow of the naked boat trackers.

i guess this is the sampan for the people living in the mountain, for them to move from 1 place to the other

the people living there is really very brave and lead a unique life.
i am really amazed by them and hope that i can experience leaving in mountains too.
